Stead and Simpson

After being empty for years, the old Stead and Simpson's shop seems to be getting renovated. Does anybody know what is going to go in there? and any history about the building?

Yep the shop is a 1,540 sq.ft. (143.1m2) store with a 33ft (10.lm) frontage forming 230-232 High Street.

The property is currently managed by Gareth Williams Commercial (http://www.garethwilliamscommercial.co.uk/property.php?id=392) based in Rhyl.

From the rental particulars "the unit is the subject of a refurbishment programme  to include new shop front"

I could not find anything on the planning website for the building to give an idea about what this refurb would constitute.

Historically though prior to Stead & Simpson it was boots...
