Founded in 1791 by carpenter, Huw Jones, the company prospered as he turned from carpentry to construction and set the business on a new path.

1907 Watkin Jones provides first stone of new Bangor University College Buildings. Mr Watkin Jones oversees the completion of the foundation stone.

1927 Firm begins building private houses starting in Bangor
