There are better examples of copper pennies made by Richard Boulton at the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff and the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.  On one side of the coin is a pair of scales and on the other, an image of Bangor Cathedral.  The Boulton family came to North Wales from Lancashire and by the 17th-century were established in Bangor and Beaumaris.
