In recent history this has been a care home, the owners of which "Menai Medical Care Ltd" went into receivership in 2000

Since then it has predominantly been student accommodation albeit there have been several submissions to redevelop the site in 2007 and 2010, both rejected (see Design Council for Wales report 2006)




Dates to around 1900 prior to Deiniol Road itself. Fronting what was then Broad Street, which at that time simply merged with Sackville Road as a route back into the town centre.
