Longcase clock, Seb Willman (184 High Street, Bangor)

Oak & Mahogany Longcase clock in nice clean condition
Dating to around 1840-50
Hood and case with pillars
painted square dial signed Seb Willman of Bangor
8 day movement
Rural landscape scenes to the corners, Birds among flora to the center
Small size, only 80 1/2 inches high
Shaped case door with brass hinges
Base with geometrical inlay to the front

This long case Grandfather clock was made by Joseph Willman. He came to Bangor in the mid 1840's and married a local girl Catherine Williams. One of their son's Sebastion Willman played football for Bangor FC
