  A purple coloured or "irradiated" glass 8 sided 10oz size Codd mineral water bottle embossed "THE BANGOR CITY MINERAL WATER COMPANY PURITY GUARANTEED". With two circular lugs in the neck to hold back the marble stopper when pouring. Applied top. This bottle would have originally been AQUA GLASS but has been sun coloured or irradiated to turn it this purple colour! IT'S NOT IT'S ORIGINAL COLOUR Just under 9 inches high (223mm) Dates to the 1900s. |
