Notice is hereby given that legal proceedings will be taken against any person or persons who shall be found to be using bottles,stoppers or cases belonging to the above Company bearing their name or that of the Bangor Bottling Co., or A.B.C. or John Green, for the purpose of sale,delivery or distribution of beer, Stout or other liquors not bottled by the said Company. A purple coloured or "irradiated" glass 8 sided 10oz size Codd mineral water bottle embossed "THE BANGOR CITY MINERAL WATER COMPANY PURITY GUARANTEED". With two circular lugs in the neck to hold back the marble stopper when pouring. Applied top. This bottle would have originally been AQUA GLASS but has been sun coloured or irradiated to turn it this purple colour! IT'S NOT IT'S ORIGINAL COLOUR
