Cae Maes Idan? Glanadda

According to my father's birth certificate he was born at Cae Maes Idan Glanadda.Has anyone have any knowledge of this address.

my grandad was born in 1911 at cae maes idan where ever that was if anyone can help with locating the whereabouts of it i would be very greatful. also if anyone can find out what this place was.

I've not heard of it as a place/building or otherwise.

The translation doesn't help much!...
Cae (Field/Fence/Hedge) and Maes (Field) Idan (?)

Could it be a reference to being born at home? maybe.

I have just sent for 2 birth certificates and both children were born in Caemaes Idan Glanadda in 1912...did we find out what it was it must have been an establishment

The Workhouse was at Cae Maes Idan, Glanadda.  Do you know where the parents were at the time of the 1911 Census?  That should give an indication of whether they were inmates of the workhouse or if they lived in a house nearby, in Caernarfon Road.

That was going to be my guess given the amount of people asking. Maybe worth trying the workhouse website and their new encyclopedia and checking any archives etc
