Len Davies played for Cardiff City in their first league season in 1920-21 and played over 300 games for the Bluebirds, scoring 128 goals and winning 23 caps for Wales while playing for them. Famously he was part of the 1927 FA Cup Final winning team as Cardiff beat Arsenal 1-0. In 1931 he joined Thames, a club based in East London that briefly played in the Football League before folding, whereafter he became player manager of Bangor City.
