His five daughters, Jessie, Ethel, Hilda, Blanche and Emily, all became Sunday School teachers. Emily (born in 1885) is happily still part of our community, though now living away from Bangor. For over 60 years she taught in the Sunday School and was active in every part of the church's work. It is to her phenomenal memory that we owe many of the details recorded in this history...
